What methods of payment do you accept at The STFX Store?

The STFX Online Store accepts all major credit card brands (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX).
The STFX Store accepts cash/debit/credit (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX) as forms of payment. The STFX Store does not accept DCB.
Note: All our prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)

 

Where is the STFX Store located?

The STFX Store is located on the 1st floor of Bloomfield Centre and our complete address is:
Bloomfield Centre, 5555 Union Place, St. Francis Xavier University Campus

 

How do I contact staff at the STFX Store?

Any general inquiries for the STFX Store, please email STFXstore@stfx.ca or call 902-867-2450 or toll-free number at 888-867-2450.  All inquiries will receive a response within 24 business hours of receipt.

 

How quickly will you fulfill my order?

Orders for all in-stock merchandise will be prepared and shipped to you the next business day from receipt of your order.
All textbook orders will be completed within 3 business days.
Note: During peak season orders may take longer to be filled.

 

Can I exchange an item I ordered online?

We do accept in store exchanges within 30 days of purchase.
We do not accept mailed exchanges. If you would like to make an exchange, you should mail us back the product(s) as the address below. Once we receive the product(s), we will refund the item(s) as long as they meet our return policy. Then (or even beforehand, if desired), you should place an order for the product of your choice through the regular ordering process.

 

What happens if an item is not available?

A Customer Service Representative from the STFX Store will contact you and offer an alternate item or refund the item.  If the item is placed on back order, the item will be sent as soon as it is in stock with no additional shipping charges.

 

Can I use a gift card online?

Yes

 

I am receiving a Merchant Override Error, what does it mean?

Due to increased security measures on our website, our billing address verifier is very sensitive to errors.
If you are getting a “Merchant Override Error” message please ensure that your:

  • Street address (St. vs. Street or Dr. vs. Drive)
  • Postal Code (H0H0H0 vs H0H 0H0)
  • Phone number (15551234 vs. 5551234)
  • Email address

Are IDENTICAL to your credit card statement.
The money that was seemingly taken from your account is a temporary hold and will return to you in the coming days.

 

Can I pick-up an order at the STFX Store?

Yes! You can select local pick-up during the ordering process.

 

What happens if you do not pick up your order?

The STFX Store will notify you when your order is ready (confirmation email). We’ll also send you a reminder or two, just in case it slips your mind that your order is ready for pick-up at the STFX Store. If you don’t pick up your order by the date specified on the reminder email, your order will be returned to the shelves and there will be a restocking fee against the refund of your order.
